Job Description
A small animal hospital in Santa Clarita, California, is looking to welcome a Veterinarian to its team.
Established in 2022, this purpose-built hospital combines general practice with non-life-threatening urgent care, creating a caseload that offers far more variety than a traditional daytime clinic. Open daily from 10 am to 11 pm, the hospital supports clients across the community with everything from routine wellness and preventative care through to same-day urgent presentations.
The veterinary team currently includes 2 DVMs supported by experienced technicians, assistants, and client care professionals. The environment is collaborative and approachable, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, open communication, and ensuring veterinarians have the autonomy to make sound clinical decisions. New graduates are welcome and can expect structured mentorship, along with daily support from colleagues who enjoy teaching.
Medicine is centered around high clinical standards, thorough client communication, and building long-term relationships with pet owners. Veterinarians are encouraged to properly work up cases, take ownership of their patients, and practice in ways that reflect their professional judgment. The combination of wellness appointments, diagnostics, medical cases, surgery, and urgent care keeps each day varied and engaging.
