Job Description
I’m working on behalf of a well-established, progressive small-animal hospital in Arlington, Virginia, just minutes from DC. This is a modern, multi-doctor practice known for delivering high-quality, personalized veterinary care while genuinely prioritizing team wellbeing and work-life balance.
The hospital operates out of a well-equipped, purpose-built facility and is supported by a highly experienced team of technicians and assistants, maintaining an impressive 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio. Doctors are encouraged to practice high-quality medicine with the time, tools, and support needed to do their best work — whether that’s advanced diagnostics, surgery, or dentistry.
This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with structured mentorship available and a collaborative culture that actively encourages questions, growth, and continued learning. Schedules are flexible, there’s no on-call or after-hours, and leadership is deeply invested in sustainability and long-term career satisfaction.
The package is competitive, with a strong base salary, production, and a comprehensive benefits offering — including partnership potential for those interested in long-term ownership without losing clinical autonomy.
