Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced DVM seeking clinical autonomy in a modern, well-supported setting, varied caseload exposure, and a genuine platform for long-term development.
The hospital combines general practice, urgent care, and grooming services, creating a fast-paced yet highly rewarding environment where no two days are exactly the same. The team is committed to delivering thoughtful, personalized care and providing clients with treatment options that align with both medical needs and owners’ goals.
The clinic itself is still relatively new and has been built with both workflow and comfort in mind. It is equipped with ultrasound, a surgical laser, digital dental radiography, and a large surgical suite, as well as practical day-to-day features such as a generously sized breakroom and a private employee bathroom. The hospital also accommodates evening and weekend hours, offers walk-in urgent care, and is staffed by certified veterinary technicians and skilled assistants, helping to create a collaborative environment around the doctors. On the clinical side, the lead veterinarian has a particular interest in dentistry and soft tissue surgery, which should appeal to candidates looking to continue developing in those areas.
This position would suit a veterinarian who enjoys the variety of GP but also likes the pace and case mix that urgent care can bring. The wider group is veterinarian-founded and veterinarian-led, with a model that balances local clinical freedom with broader operational support. There is also a strong emphasis on career progression, including leadership development, support for continuing education, and a pathway to partnership for those with longer-term ambitions. Compensation is highly competitive, with a base salary in the $120,000-$130,000 range, strong production potential, and a benefits package that supports both personal well-being and financial stability.
