An incredible opportunity has risen for an Associate Veterinarian at a 7-doctor, AAHA-accredited hospital in South Austin, TX!
Situated in South Austin, TX, this large, full-service small animal hospital has been part of the local community for nearly 40 years, earning a reputation for benchmark-quality veterinary medicine along the way. The practice holds AAHA accreditation and Cat Friendly Certification, and has built an outstanding 4.9-star reputation among its loyal client base.
You will be joining a collaborative team of seven veterinarians who genuinely enjoy sharing ideas, supporting one another, and celebrating wins together. This opportunity is open to experienced doctors and newer graduates alike, as you will have access to structured mentorship, leadership development, and a strong community of veterinary professionals to learn from.
The hospital is well equipped to support high-quality veterinary medicine, with digital x-ray, ultrasound, EKG, tonometry, and in-house lab and bloodwork capabilities all available on-site.
The caseload spans wellness and preventative care through to advanced diagnostics, pain management, and a mix of general practice with some urgent care, keeping each day varied and engaging.
The practice is closed on Sundays, with Saturday mornings shared on a rotating basis across the team. Minimal weekend work and a consistent 4-day work week provide you with a predictable and manageable schedule to truly plan and enjoy your time outside of the hospital walls!

- Broad caseload spanning wellness, advanced diagnostics, pain management, and urgent care alongside general practice
- Minimal weekend work – closed on Sundays with Saturday mornings shared across the team
- DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
- You hold (or are eligible for) a Veterinary State License in Texas
- Collaborative, positive, and team oriented in your approach
- Strong communicator who enjoys building lasting client relationships
- Comfortable with a general practice caseload, including some urgent care
- Genuine interest in continued learning and professional growth
- Base salary $120,000–$140,000 plus monthly production bonus
