Job Description
I’m working with a well-established small-animal hospital in Aventura that is seeking to welcome a full-time Veterinarian to its growing team.
This is a modern, full-service practice with an excellent local reputation, a five-doctor roster, AAHA accreditation, and a genuine focus on high-quality, personalized medicine. The hospital offers a broad caseload spanning preventive care, medicine, surgery, dentistry, senior pet care, behavioral work, dermatology, oncology support, diagnostics, sick visits, and urgent care during regular business hours, six days a week, so this role can offer both variety and clinical satisfaction.
What stands out here is the structure around the doctor. The team is set up to help you do your job well, with a strong staff-to-doctor ratio, flexible scheduling options, and a culture where leaving on time is the norm rather than the exception. There are no on-call or late-night expectations, and the hospital places real emphasis on relationship-based care, longer appointment times, and collaborative decision-making with clients. For a veterinarian who wants to practice good medicine in a well-supported environment, that makes a real difference day to day.
You’d be joining an experienced and established clinical team in a clean, well-regarded hospital that has built trust in the community and maintains strong client satisfaction. The practice is also proudly multilingual, which adds another valuable dimension to client communication and continuity of care. Whether you are an experienced GP looking for a smoother, more sustainable position or a doctor earlier in your career who would value working alongside multiple veterinarians in a collaborative setting, this is the kind of hospital where support is already built in.
The wider package is highly competitive, including ProSal compensation, a sign-on bonus, CE support, full license and dues coverage, retirement benefits, and future partnership opportunities.
