Job Description
Atlas is proudly working with a well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital that has been proudly serving its community since 1999. Housed in a purpose-built facility designed by a veterinary architect in 2008, this practice offers a bright and supportive environment for both its clients and team members.
The caseload is varied, focused on cats, dogs, and small pocket pets, with surgery and dentistry performed in-house, utilising the excellent on-site facilities. The team currently includes three experienced doctors alongside five skilled technicians and assistants. Together, they’ve created a culture of collaboration, stability, and longevity, with staff who have been part of the hospital for many years.
Here, flexible scheduling options are available, offering an outstanding work-life balance: a 30–40 hour work week, no evening shifts, and only every other Saturday morning is required. There is no on-call or emergency work. While the hospital cannot currently accommodate brand-new graduates due to mentorship capacity, this is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian with at least one year of experience who is looking to join a supportive, client-focused team with a strong reputation.
Why here? Brookfield, CT is a vibrant town that offers an excellent quality of life and a fantastic connection to both the countryside and cities. The community is known for its top-rated schools, safe neighborhoods, and strong local services. Residents enjoy access to scenic parks, lakes, and trails, offering opportunities for boating, hiking, and other outdoor recreational activities. It’s an ideal location for those seeking both professional fulfillment and a rewarding lifestyle.
