Job Description
If you’re looking for a practice where your skills are valued, your schedule is balanced, and collaboration is key… look no further!
Atlas has teamed up with a fabulous, established small-animal hospital in the vibrant Minneapolis South metro area, on the hunt for an Associate Veterinarian to join them! This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to become part of a community that’s passionate about making a difference for pets and their people.
The clinic takes pride in being AAHA-accredited and Fear Free certified. The vibe here is welcoming and collaborative. Right now, they’re a tight-knit group of three veterinarians, backed by fantastic veterinary assistants and technicians. They believe in working hard, supporting each other, and celebrating wins—big or small.
Here’s what sets them apart: They’re all about flexibility and balance. A full-time schedule here means just three days a week—yes, really! Plus, you’d work rotating Saturdays (no Sundays!) to give you that extra bit of weekend freedom. They know you’ve got a life outside of work and want to help you enjoy it.
The clinic is filled with top-notch equipment because they believe that great tools make great medicine. They’ve got digital radiography, ultrasound, and a fully equipped surgical and dental suite for both routine and complex cases. Their in-house lab keeps diagnostics fast and efficient, and their on-site pharmacy means that clients can get what they need without the extra hassle. Anaesthesia monitoring? Of course—they wouldn’t have it any other way.
But it’s not just about the medicine—it’s about making clients and pets feel right at home. They’re proud of their community ties and reputation for quality, compassionate care. Whether it’s a routine wellness check or a more challenging case, they are there for our patients every step of the way.
This hospital knows that happy vets make for happy pets, so they’ve put together a pretty awesome benefits package. You’ll have medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with long-term and short-term disability insurance. Life insurance is also included; they even add an employer contribution to your Health Savings Account when enrolled in certain medical plans.
You’ll also get a Flexible Spending Account for health care and dependent care, a 401(k) with a company match to set you up for the future, and a Pet Wellness Plan for two pets (because your furry friends deserve the best, too). Continuing education support? Check. License reimbursement? Double-check. Plus, they offer maternity and paternity leave, up to 120 hours of PTO, paid holidays, a scrub allowance, and professional liability insurance. We’ve also got an Employee Assistance Program and Wellness Plan to support your well-being.
We’re looking for a DVM with a passion for making a difference and a flair for working in a fast-paced, fun environment. Whether you’re a pro at anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry or looking to grow your skills with the support of an amazing team, we’d love to chat!
