Job Description
Are you a new or recently qualified veterinarian looking for a structured, supportive transition into clinical practice? I’m working with a well-established small-animal hospital in Georgia that is part of a nationwide network offering a standout yearlong mentorship program designed specifically for early-career DVMs.
This is not your typical “learn as you go” role. You’ll join a collaborative 4-doctor team in a modern, fully equipped hospital, where mentorship is embedded into your day-to-day experience. The practice features advanced diagnostic and treatment tools including ultrasound, digital dental radiology, in-house lab equipment, ECG technology, and dedicated surgical and dental suites. The team is highly experienced and genuinely invested in developing new graduates, offering a balance of hands-on case exposure and guided clinical decision-making.
Through a dual mentorship model, you’ll benefit from both on-site guidance and additional structured support from a national mentorship team. You’ll gradually build confidence managing your own caseload, while still having access to experienced clinicians for case discussion and support. Alongside this, you’ll join a cohort of peers across the country—creating a valuable professional network that extends far beyond your first year in practice.
This opportunity combines the feel of a close-knit, supportive hospital with the backing of a large, well-resourced organization, offering excellent career development, strong earning potential, and long-term growth pathways.
