Job Description
Atlas is proud to present an outstanding opportunity for a small animal veterinarian to join a thriving, multi-location practice in North Carolina.
With clinics in Davidson, Charlotte, and Wilmington, this independently owned group is recognized for its distinctive blend of high-quality conventional medicine and integrative therapies, including acupuncture, chiropractic care, herbal medicine, and more.
You’ll be joining a supportive, well-staffed team with strong leadership, a balanced schedule, and no corporate red tape. Whether you’re an experienced vet looking for a progressive clinic where your skills are valued, or a newer graduate seeking hands-on learning and mentorship, this group offers an environment built for growth and professional satisfaction.
With a competitive compensation package, advanced diagnostics, and a true commitment to work-life balance (did I mention NO WEEKENDS!)—this is a rare chance to practice gold-standard care while living in one of North Carolina’s most desirable regions.
- Independently owned group with four modern, well-equipped clinics across NC
- Strong focus on integrative medicine alongside high-quality conventional care
- 4-day workweek, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, with no weekends or after-hours
- Collaborative, well-staffed teams with a focus on diagnostics and patient care
- Flexible roles available to suit experienced vets or newer graduates
- DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
- North Carolina Veterinary Board State License (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Preferably interested in (or open to) integrative approaches, but not essential
- Committed to delivering top-tier patient care and building client relationships
- Enjoy working as part of a supportive team with strong technical staff
- Keen to grow clinically, professionally, or into future leadership opportunities
- Open to occasional surgery, with the option to expand surgical days as desired
- Open to new graduates and experienced veterinarians alike
- Competitive earning potential (Straight Salary or ProSal, the choice is yours!)
- Generous PTO increasing with tenure
- CE funded and encouraged, plus 4 CE days
- Medical insurance, plus full vision, dental, long-term disability, and life insurance
- Mentorship and professional development support, including monthly peer meetings
