Job Description
We are working on behalf of a long established small animal hospital in Daytona Beach, FL that is looking to welcome a full time Associate Veterinarian to its team.
The practice has served the same community for more than 80 years and has built its reputation on thorough, affordable, and genuinely caring medicine, from routine wellness exams and vaccinations through to advanced dental and laser surgery procedures.
The caseload is varied general practice, so your week covers medical, surgical, and dental work rather than one narrow slice of it. What stands out most here is the schedule.
The hospital is open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. There are no on call duties and no holiday shifts, so when you are off, you really are off. You will also be well supported on the floor, with a 2.5 to 1 support staff to doctor ratio and a team that knows how to keep a busy day moving.
The hospital is part of a wider partner owned group, and for doctors who are interested there is scope to explore an ownership route in the future, with operations, marketing, and finance handled centrally so you can focus on the medicine.
