Job Description
We are working on behalf of a well-established general practice hospital in Denver, CO, that has been part of its community for more than 50 years and is looking to welcome an Associate Veterinarian to its team. This is a practice built around great medicine and genuine client relationships.
You’ll be joining a team that values preventive care, client education, and a collaborative, positive culture just as much as clinical excellence. Whether you’re managing a busy day of wellness visits or triaging an urgent case, you’ll have a team around you that’s focused on doing right by pets and their people. We’re looking for a DVM to join the team on a 3- or 4-day per week schedule with very limited weekend commitments.
The hospital is backed by a supportive multi-hospital network that provides the resources of a larger group while preserving the individuality and culture of the practice itself. That means strong benefits, real investment in your professional development, and the stability of an established organization without losing the feel of a local, community-focused hospital.
This is a genuinely well-rounded opportunity for a DVM who wants to build long-term relationships with clients and patients, in a practice that’s proud of its history and excited about where it’s headed next.
- Backed by a supportive multi-hospital network, while keeping a local, community-focused culture
- 3 or 4 days per week schedule with limited weekends on offer for a new veterinarian joining!
- 401k with 100% company match up to 3%, plus a 50% match on the next 2%
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision options, including a 100% paid dental premium option
- Complimentary life insurance and short-term disability, with voluntary options available
- Generous CE program, plus reimbursement for state license, DEA license, and association dues
- VIN access and master accounts with Sage, Wiley, and Elsevier
- Employee Assistance Program (Headspace) and fertility and family-building support via Progyny
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
- Active veterinary license in good standing
- Passionate about preventive care and client education
- Comfortable managing a busy caseload, including urgent and emergent cases
- A collaborative team player who values a positive workplace culture
- $120,000 – $140,000 base salary, depending on experience
- 401k with 100% company match up to 3%, plus a 50% match on the next 2%
- Complimentary life insurance and short-term disability
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options
- Paid time off, inclusive of sick, personal, vacation, and CE
- AVMA Professional Liability Insurance (PLIT) provided
- Reimbursement for state license, DEA license, and state VMA and AVMA dues
