Atlas – Leaders in Veterinary careers are proud to be working with a leading small animal practice with a beautiful, 7000+ square foot, stand-alone hospital in the heart of Gainesville. You’ll have all the latest toys at your disposal to provide the best outcome to your patients, including a fully-equipped surgical suite, digital radiology suite, digital dental radiology, cold laser therapy, an ultrasound suite, and a complete in-house diagnostic laboratory, to name a few! Having private suites for their different services means that they can offer a relaxing and low-stress environment for pets.
Gainesville is often considered one of the best places to live in Florida, thanks to its urban suburban feel, University campuses, historic museums, and vibrant bar and restaurant scene. The hospital is located just outside the heart of Gainesville, nestled in an area surrounded by family communities.
The successful applicant will benefit from an interesting range of cases, with your daily responsibilities including appointments, physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry. - Large, 7,000 square foot stand-alone hospital
- Located in Gainesville, nestled in an area surrounded by family communities, yet with access to all that Gainesville has to offer, from historic museums to bars, restaurants, and parks.
- State-of-the-art facilities including a fully-equipped surgical suite, digital radiology suite, digital dental radiology, cold laser therapy, an ultrasound suite, a complete in-house diagnostic laboratory, and much more
- Experienced 3-doctor team (looking for their 4th!), plus a dedicated team of vet techs, receptionists, practice management, and assistants.
- Schedule: 4-day week, alternate Saturdays at the most, no nights or Sundays!
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent.
- To hold or have a Florida state veterinary board license which MUST be in good standing.
- A passionate veterinarian with a minimum of 1 year’s experience.
- A passion to provide the highest level of care to your patients, clients & colleagues.
- A strong work ethic and keen to continue progressing in your career.
