Job Description
We are actively hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join a respected, 5-doctor hospital in Harlingen, Texas. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a collaborative team working in a modern facility that has served the local community for decades.
The hospital offers a supportive environment for both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates, with tailored mentorship and opportunities to expand into areas such as urgent care or exotic animal medicine. The facility is equipped with advanced technology, including record dictation software to streamline record keeping, so you have more time to focus on patient care.
This is a full-time role with a flexible schedule, requiring just 12 shifts over a 4-week period, designed to promote work-life balance. Options include a four-day workweek and unique rota structures that offer extended weekends to enjoy downtime outside of work. The team culture fosters loyalty and collaboration, with long-tenured doctors and support staff who value the hospital’s commitment to professional growth.
The package includes a competitive base salary, production bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits plan. Relocation support is available for non-local candidates, making this an attractive opportunity for those seeking both career development and lifestyle benefits in the Rio Grande Valley.
