We are partnered with a well-established general practice hospital in Jersey City, which has recently undergone a modernization process, now boasting excellent facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, including dental machines, surgical equipment, ultrasound, digital radiography, and much more.
You will enjoy a varied and exciting blend of general practice cases, with the opportunity to tailor the role to your clinical interests, whatever they are!
The team consists of four skilled and supportive veterinarians with various specialties. There is a fantastic surgeon specializing in complex soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries, as well as those focusing more on internal medicine and pain management. This is a great environment to learn from a range of vets while also being encouraged to follow your own interests. Alongside the doctor team, the technicians and support staff are incredible.
Closed on Sundays, the standard schedule is a four-day week with rotating Saturdays. However, personal circumstances are always considered so if you need custom schedules, we would love to hear from you!
Located just a few minutes from the Hudson River, the area is family and dog-friendly, with lots of parking and transport links. As well as easy access to all the amenities of northeastern New Jersey and New York City.

- Licensed to practice in New Jersey or eligible for licensure in the state.
- DVM or equivalent qualification.
- Comfortable with general practice responsibilities, including wellness exams, diagnosing illnesses, and developing treatment plans for pets.
- Experience in performing routine surgical procedures.
- Team-oriented mindset and collaborative attitude.
- Mentorship is available so any enthusiastic recent graduates are more than welcome to apply!
- Base salary of $140,000–$190,000
