Job Description
I’m working with a nonprofit veterinary organization in Las Vegas that has evolved from grassroots rescue into a multi-site provider of accessible, low-cost veterinary care. Their second location, originally designed as a spay/neuter and preventative care center, has rapidly expanded into a full-service clinic due to overwhelming community demand.
This particular role is based at their second site, and offers something quite rare in this organization: a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend work. It’s a fantastic option for a veterinarian who is passionate about access-to-care medicine but also values a more structured, predictable workweek. While making an impact, you can enjoy a flexible work-life balance of 4 x 10-hour shifts with no weekends required.
The clinic continues to expand its capabilities and caseload, now offering a blend of preventive care, medical appointments, and surgery. You’ll have access to diagnostic tools, including ultrasound and x-ray, with ongoing investment into equipment and services as the site develops. The environment remains fast-paced, making it a great middle ground between high-volume impact work and sustainability.
You’ll be supported by a mission-driven leadership team that prioritizes attitude and purpose over perfection. They are open to shaping the role around your strengths, whether that’s focusing more on surgery, medicine, or a blend of both. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, wants to grow clinically, and values being part of a service that genuinely helps pet owners.

- Passionate about community-focused, access-to-care veterinary medicine
- Comfortable with a mix of GP medicine and routine surgery (spays/neuters)
- Keen to develop clinically within a growing hospital environment
- Base salary starting around $145,000 – $180,000 per year
- Monday–Friday schedule offering excellent work-life balance
- Flexibility to shape your role around your clinical interests
