Job Description
This small animal general practice in Madera is looking to add an Associate Veterinarian to its team. Doctors typically see 16 to 18 appointments a day, giving them time to work cases properly while maintaining a steady workflow.
The caseload is a balanced mix of wellness, preventative medicine, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry, with experienced support staff helping appointments and procedures run efficiently.
The hospital places a strong focus on client education and long-term relationships. Clients expect clear communication and continuity of care, creating a practice where medicine is built around thoughtful decision-making rather than moving quickly from one appointment to the next. Doctors are given the autonomy to manage their own cases while having operational support available when needed.
Support is one of the strengths of the practice.
With a 2.5:1 support staff ratio, veterinarians are well assisted throughout the day by technicians and client service representatives, allowing them to focus on clinical work rather than administrative tasks. Flexible scheduling and mentorship are also available, making the role suitable for both experienced veterinarians and those looking to continue developing their skills.
