Atlas is partnered with a forward-thinking, private hospital in the heart of Manhattan, New York, and is on the lookout for a senior veterinarian to join its team. The practice offers a full-service of veterinary care within a modern clinical setting designed to the same standards you’d expect for humans.
They are all about providing an exceptional standard of care for pets and a trusted, compassionate service to pet owners. Working off a membership model, you will be given plenty of time to work up cases and have thorough examinations with your clients and their pets.
Equipped with the latest veterinary equipment, including ultrasound, full in-house labs (IDEXX), dentistry, digital X-ray, comprehensive surgical suites, and more, you will have everything you need to provide first-class care.
You will join a welcoming, skilled team of Veterinarians with a wide range of expertise, from behavior and complex medical cases to ophthalmology and soft-tissue surgery.

- Membership-based private general practice in Manhattan, New York.
- Thorough examination slots (30-60 minutes) with regular admin blocks scheduled in throughout the day.
- Modern clinic filled with the latest veterinary technology and equipment.
- Four day working week comprising of 10 hour shifts (including one hour lunch break), no Sunday working.
- Supportive, friendly four-doctor team with excellent knowledge of all elements of veterinary medicine including soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, internal medicine, behaviour, and more.
- Extensive, committed support team of nurses/LVTs and customer experience staff.
- Genuine commitment to provide an excellent standard of care, first-class client service, and providing an unmatched environment for Veterinarians to follow their interests and progress their careers.
- DVM or equivalent degree
- 3+ years of clinical experience in general practice
- Active New York Veterinary Board State License (or ability to obtain)
- Desire to provide an exceptional standard of care to clients and their furry friends.
- Strong surgical and dentistry skills preferred
- Confident communication with clients and colleagues.
- Competitive base salary of $170,000 +
