We’re a third-party recruiter working on behalf of a renowned multi-specialty and emergency hospital in vibrant Miami, seeking a Medical Director to join this exceptional team. This position offers an incredible opportunity to shape the future of veterinary medicine in one of Miami’s top hospitals.
This hospital is a bustling hub for specialized and emergency care, serving over 20,000 cases and acting as a critical resource for 350 local veterinarians across the Miami area. With cutting-edge equipment, including a Vimago CT, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, ventilators, respirators, and comprehensive diagnostic capabilities like cystoscopy, rhinoscopy, and bronchoscopy, this hospital empowers its team to provide the highest standard of patient care.
As Medical Director, you’ll be part of the hospital leadership, driving change, growth, and development within a collaborative, supportive, and empathetic culture. This role is ideal for a leader passionate about veterinary excellence and dedicated to nurturing a positive work environment. - You hold a DVM/VMD (or equivalent) and are licensed to practice in Florida.
- You’re an active, licensed DEA or DEA-eligible veterinarian.
- Board Certification in a specialty area is highly valued, though it is not essential
