In this role, you’ll deliver expert care to over 500 shelter animals annually, ensuring they get the medical attention they deserve. But this isn’t just about numbers – it’s about extending your skills and expertise to support local shelters. Your reach will stretch far beyond the clinic, as you’ll be at the forefront of offering accessible, high-quality veterinary care to underserved communities. You’ll play a vital role in high-impact, high-volume spay/neuter and vaccination events.

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Hold a Michigan State License or have the ability to obtain one
- A heart full of compassion for animals
- Experience in shelter medicine is a plus, but limited experience is welcomed
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Understand the emotional demands of animal welfare work
