Job Description
Are you looking to advance your veterinary career in a well-established, AAHA-accredited hospital where you’ll be empowered by cutting-edge technology and a passionate, collaborative team?
Atlas are excited to be partnering with a standout practice that has been serving the Newport News community for over 35 years. Here, you’ll find an environment where mentorship isn’t just a buzzword—new graduates are truly supported, and continuing education is at the forefront.
Join a cohesive team of two experienced DVMs, two Licensed Veterinary Technicians, and five dedicated Veterinary Assistants. You’ll work alongside professionals who not only practice gold-standard medicine but also give back to their community—partnering with local organizations such as the Peninsula SPCA and the City of Newport News to provide care for service animals and newly adopted pets
The hospital is equipped with modern medical technology, including digital and dental radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, hands-free radiology, ECG, cold/therapeutic lasers, and a robust electronic medical records system. The facility enjoys rave reviews from clients and is known for its supportive work culture and strong, collaborative team dynamic.
Flexible scheduling is available to allow for a healthy work-life balance. If you’re someone who loves working with both cats and dogs, enjoys teaching or mentoring others, and is eager to keep learning and growing, this is an opportunity not to miss.
