Job Description
We’re hiring an Associate Veterinarian for a highly respected, AAHA-accredited small-animal hospital in Overland Park that has built a reputation for combining compassion, affordability, and cutting-edge technology.
This well-established 5-doctor practice is now ready to welcome an additional Associate Veterinarian—whether you’re seeking additional mentorship or you are an experienced clinician looking for a collaborative, high-standard environment.
The hospital offers a full spectrum of services, including wellness and preventive care, dentistry, surgery, urgent care, and exotic pet medicine. They’ve recently invested in advanced diagnostic equipment, including HDVI/CT imaging, digital radiography, in-house laboratory analyzers, and ultrasound. The practice prides itself on providing progressive medicine while maintaining a close-knit, supportive team culture.
This progressive clinic has built an excellent reputation in the local community, with numerous 5-star reviews and clients returning year after year.
Work/life balance is a priority for the clinic’s doctors, so for a full-time position, you can expect to work four consistent days a week and rotating Saturdays shared between the team. They have extended hours Monday-Thursday until 8 pm to service the community’s urgent care needs.
You’ll join a cohesive group of doctors supported by a skilled team of technicians and client care staff, all of whom share a genuine passion for their work. Mentorship and continued learning are integral to the hospital’s culture, making this an ideal environment for growth, collaboration, and work-life balance.
