Atlas is excited to collaborate with a privately owned veterinary hospital located in scenic Palm Desert, CA, which is currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian eager to practice top-tier medicine while maintaining a balanced life outside of work.
This full-time position offers a unique blend of career advancement and personal well-being. The hospital prides itself on being the first and only Fear-Free Certified Practice in the Coachella Valley, fostering a compassionate, stress-free environment for both animals and veterinary staff.
Joining a team of three doctors, you’ll work in a cutting-edge facility equipped with six exam rooms, digital radiography (x-ray), advanced CT and fluoroscopy imaging systems (a first for the valley), ultrasound, and a comprehensive in-house laboratory. Additional services include acupuncture, cold-laser therapy, surgery, dental care, herbal medicine, and osteoarthritis pain therapy.
This role features a default four-day workweek with options for three extended days or part-time hours, designed to accommodate your lifestyle with no after-hours, on-call, weekend, or emergency shifts required.

- 2+ years of clinical experience in small animal/general practice
- Proficient in treating dogs and cats

- Excellent communicator with clients and team members
- Must hold or be able to obtain a California veterinary license
- Competitive compensation: base salary up to $225,000+
