Job Description
Are you a passionate veterinarian eager to make a difference in a thriving private clinic? We’re seeking a small animal Associate Veterinarian for a stunning, well-equipped clinic in Pearland, Texas. Join a supportive and dynamic multi-doctor team committed to excellence in animal care and professional growth.
This full-service hospital is truly one-of-a-kind, offering an incredibly extensive range of primary care and advanced services, including wellness, preventative care, urgent care, dermatology, internal medicine, soft tissue, and orthopedic surgery. The hospital is bright and modern, you will also find an incredible diagnostic suite, an advanced surgical suite, and seven exam rooms!
Looking for dedicated mentorship and support? You will receive unparalleled, tailored mentorship at this hospital from the owners, who hold over 40 years of experience in veterinary medicine and have a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring. Every Wednesday, the team gets together for training, with a focus on collaboration, continuous improvement, and a chance for you to voice your ideas, opinions, and needs. The clinic will also cover one CE event per year, plus any local events in Texas. In addition to the support from the owners and your fellow veterinarians, the hospital has an excellent ratio of support staff to veterinarians 6:1, so you can focus on your duties as a veterinarian, providing a gold-standard level of care to your patients.
When it comes to scheduling, the owners are passionate about ensuring their veterinarians have a strong work-life balance so you will be able to choose a schedule that works best for you and your needs. Typically, veterinarians will work 3.5 days on and 3.5 days off which gives you time to focus on your interests and commitments outside of work. However, if you prefer a 4/10 schedule this can also be accommodated with optional weekends!
Every day is an adventure at this hospital; not only does the clinic see canine and feline patients, but you can also expect to see a variety of exotic and avian species, although treatment of these animals is entirely optional for you. If you have a passion for exotic animals, then this is the hospital for you! A caseload with predominantly exotics and zoo animals can be accommodated. Likewise, if you have a passion for surgery, you can be given additional surgery days to complement your clinical interests.
- Family-owned, well-regarded hospital with an extensive, loyal client base
- Multi-doctor practice that fosters a culture of collaboration and support
- Incredible mentorship opportunities from their board-certified owner and additional experienced team members with a passion for mentoring and teaching
- You will be very highly compensated for your role – receiving a straight salary up to $230,000 as an Associate Veterinarian
- Never stress about hitting production targets again! – The owners don’t believe veterinarians should be incentivized financially when providing care to patients
- No non-compete agreements!
- The clinic is fast-paced and busy, seeing many patients, including dogs, cats, exotics, avian, and zoo animals!
- Choose a schedule that works best for you – 4/10s? No Weekends? 3.5 Days on 3-4 days off?
- Experience brilliant team bonding events where each department takes turns cooking for the rest of the practice and get to know each other in the best way possible… over food!
- Benefit from the support of 5-6 support staff dedicated to supporting you throughout your busy day
- This hospital practices fear-free methods of handling, prioritizing the patient’s well-being and comfort at all times
- Each day is an adventure at this private hospital, with an incredibly diverse caseload – the learning and development opportunities are endless!

- You will have a Texas Veterinary License in good standing or can obtain one if you are relocating
