Our partners in the Sacramento, CA, area are seeking their next Associate Veterinarian to join a close-knit, high-performing team in a beautifully remodelled, modern hospital.
Whether your passion lies in dentistry, surgery, or even exotics, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact at this outstanding private hospital.
You’ll be working alongside a seasoned team of 2 veterinarians, including a highly experienced owner-DVM who has led the practice for over 40 years. With a 12-person team including RVTs, veterinary assistants, and a complete client care and management support staff, this practice has built a truly collaborative, family-style culture where everyone’s voice is valued.
- Privately owned, standalone hospital in Sacramento, CA
- Completely remodeled and purpose-built, with 6 exam rooms, separate dental and surgical suites
- Fully equipped with digital X-ray, dental radiography, ultrasound, in-house labs, and more
- 30-minute appointments with dedicated technician support
- 4-day workweek (or 3 days if preferred), no after-hours, no emergencies, and no weekends!

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent
- Licensed and in good standing to practice in California
- Experienced in routine surgical procedures

- Committed to practicing high-quality medicine and providing outstanding client service

- Competitive base salary of $160,000–$180,000 depending on experience
- Signing bonus and/or relocation assistance available
