Job Description
I’m representing a long-established small-animal hospital in Salt Lake City that has been a trusted part of the community for over five decades.
This AAHA-accredited general practice has recently expanded to include a dedicated wellness center, allowing the team to continue delivering highly personalized, Fear Free-informed care while improving access for preventive services. The hospital operates out of a well-maintained, thoughtfully designed facility equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography, dental radiography, therapeutic & surgical laser units, modern anesthesia monitoring, and fully integrated Cornerstone software.
You’d be joining a team of experienced, collaborative veterinarians supported by a strong technical staff that values mentorship, case discussions, and continual skill development. New graduates receive structured, encouraging mentorship, while experienced doctors benefit from a supportive environment that allows them to cultivate special interests such as orthopedics, acupuncture, or integrative medicine. The practice operates on an actual four-day workweek with no weekends or on-call, supporting a strong work–life balance.
The hospital prides itself on building long-standing client relationships and creating a calm, positive environment for pets and the people who love them. With a stable leadership team, low turnover, and a progressive approach to medicine, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow clinically while working with a team that prioritizes respect, communication, and high-quality care.
