Atlas is excited to present an outstanding opportunity for an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established, highly rated, five-doctor hospital in the Setauket, NY area.
This full-service hospital is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate veterinary care to small animals by prioritizing client education and building long-term relationships with pets and their families. This is a busy, fast-paced hospital home to five fantastic veterinarians and a dedicated team of support staff who have created a highly collaborative culture ready to welcome their next team member!
This progressive practice offers a wide range of services, including preventative care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, emergency, and urgent care (during opening hours). The ideal candidate is a compassionate and motivated veterinarian with strong clinical skills, competency in surgery and dentistry with a commitment to patient care. Responsibilities will include performing wellness exams, diagnostics, routine and soft tissue surgeries, and emergency care when needed. The ability to build and maintain positive client relationships through empathetic communication and education is essential.
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000, along with a competitive production bonus. The benefits package includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off (PTO), and a generous continuing education allowance to support career advancement.

- Must hold a DVM degree from an AVMA-accredited university (or equivalent)
- Hold a New York Veterinary License in good standing (or ability to obtain)
- Ideally, you will have at least 2-3 years experience in an Associate Veterinarian position and be comfortable with routine soft-tissue surgeries and dental procedures
- You enjoy working collaboratively with other doctors and veterinary professionals
- Have the ability to commute comfortably to the East Setauket area upon starting
- You will prioritize patient care at all times and educate clients accordingly in reference to diagnosis and treatment plans
