Job Description
We’re representing a long-standing 5-doctor mixed-animal hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma, that has proudly served its community for over 70 years and is seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join its dedicated, fast-paced team.
This is not your typical small-animal clinic — this hospital truly sees everything and anything that comes through the door. Due to its rural setting, the caseload is highly diverse and includes small animals, livestock, small ruminants, pocket pets, avian, reptiles, and even local wildlife.
The ideal candidate will be confident handling a varied caseload, thrive in a dynamic environment, and be comfortable moving efficiently between appointments, walk-ins, and urgent care cases.
The hospital itself is modern and well-equipped, with digital radiography, ultrasound, a full in-house lab, and separate surgical and dental suites. You’ll benefit from a 3:1 staff-to-doctor ratio and a skilled, tenured support team that works seamlessly together. Led by a highly experienced Medical Director, this is a place where teamwork, flexibility, and clinical excellence are the foundation of the culture.
Whether you’re seeking a full-time schedule or a part-time position with flexibility, this is an opportunity to join a practice that values autonomy, supports your professional goals, and offers exposure to one of the most varied caseloads in the region.
