Job Description
Looking for a practice where you can build lasting client relationships while having the support and equipment to practice high-quality medicine every day? A well-established small animal general practice in Stockton, California, is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and experienced team.
This hospital has built a loyal client base by providing accessible, high-quality care to the local community. The team takes pride in developing long-term relationships with pet owners and delivering personalized treatment plans across a varied caseload. Leadership is focused on creating a sustainable working environment where doctors are supported, respected, and given the autonomy to practice medicine in the way they believe is best for their patients.
The practice sees around 25 patients each day and offers a diverse mix of preventive care, internal medicine, dentistry, diagnostics, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, reconstructive procedures, and oncologic surgery. Doctors have access to in-house diagnostics, laboratory equipment, advanced surgical facilities, digital tools, and an online pharmacy, allowing the team to manage a wide range of cases within the hospital. Support is one of the hospital’s biggest strengths.
With a 4:1 support staff ratio, experienced technicians and client care team members help keep appointments efficient and allow veterinarians to focus on patient care. The culture is collaborative, organized, and genuinely team-focused, with an emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance while continuing to provide a high standard of medicine.
