Job Description
We’re working with a long-standing, privately owned small animal hospital in Templeton, CA, that has proudly cared for the community for over 30 years.
This 3-doctor hospital is looking to welcome a fourth veterinarian to their collaborative and supportive team.
The practice is well-equipped with an IDEXX in-house lab, digital and dental radiography, ultrasound, and dedicated surgical/dental suites. Natural light fills the building, and even an outdoor exam area is available to make visits more comfortable. With a loyal client base of dogs and cats, the caseload is varied but manageable, with plenty of support from experienced technicians and assistants.
The team culture blends high medical standards with warmth, empathy, and humor. Mentorship is taken seriously here—early career doctors are actively guided by senior veterinarians to build skills in surgery, ultrasound, and complex case management. For experienced clinicians, there is ample room to shape your caseload and pursue professional interests.

- DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
- You hold (or are eligible for) a licensure in California
- Collaborative, team-oriented professional with strong communication skills
- Compassionate and empathetic in approach to client and patient care
- Interested in either mentorship (if early career) or sharing expertise (if experienced)
- $150,000–$180,000 base salary plus production incentives
