Atlas is excited to represent a brand-new, specially designed Urgent Care Hospital in Wheeling, IL. If you’re a dedicated doctor seeking a new challenge within Urgent Care, we want to hear from you!
This new facility has taken an innovative approach to urgent care, it possesses the latest cutting-edge equipment and technology, and the same high standards of veterinary professionals on staff, creating a positive culture of collaboration and ensuring you have all the necessary tools to carry out your work effectively. The Hospital promotes a healthy work life balance, this role is offered on a full-time schedule, which will consist of four 10-hour shifts per week between 10am and 8pm, weekends are on a shared rota schedule and can be negotiated to suit you. Staffing has been carefully considered, and there will always be enough associates to ensure you leave work on time.
The Hospital is equipped to see a diverse range of cases, including allergic reactions, infections and rashes, wounds/abrasions, pain/limping concerns, respiratory issues, toxin ingestion, and urinary issues.

- You must hold a DVM degree from an AVMA accredited University
- You must hold an Illinois State Licence or have the ability to obtain one
- You should be passionate about providing the highest level of care possible to pets and their parents
- Possess brilliant communication skills with both clients and colleagues
- Have some experience in urgent care or emergency cases, although primary care and new graduates are equally as encouraged to apply
