Atlas is pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian to join a full-service, 7-doctor veterinary medical facility in Wilmington, NC.
This Hospital has been serving south-eastern North Carolina in small animal, avian/exotic, and referral medicine for nearly 50 years, during which time it has built a long-standing and loyal client base. More recently, the hospital was moved to a brand-new facility in June of 2010 and is easily accessible from most major roads. They proudly offer a variety of services, including wellness care, surgery, ultrasound, endoscopy, radiography, dentistry, in-house diagnostics, luxury boarding, bathing, and doggy daycare. They are very proud of their healthcare team and strive for the very best in both patient care and customer service, where the needs of their patients and their caregivers are at the heart of what they stand for.
The successful applicant will have access to state-of-the-art equipment, including laser therapy, a TENS unit, a therapeutic ultrasound unit, digital dental x-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscope, an in-house lab, and more! You’ll also be joining an experienced veterinary team with expertise in various areas, including surgery, medicine, ultrasonography, and dermatology. - A diverse range of experience and clinical interests ensure you’ll always have someone to learn from and turn to for a second opinion!
- State-of-the-art equipment includes laser therapy, a TENS unit, a therapeutic ultrasound unit, digital dental x-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy, a laparoscope, an in-house lab, and more!
- Schedule: 4-day week, alternate Saturdays, No Sundays, nights or Emergencies!

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent.
- A valid North Carolina Veterinary Board State License (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 1 year of veterinary experience.
