Job Description
Do you want to join a thriving, community-loved small animal practice in the heart of St. Paul? Known for delivering high-quality care without losing that personal, neighborhood feel. This is a hospital where relationships matter with clients, with patients, and just as importantly, within the team.
They’re now looking to welcome a Certified Veterinary Technician to their team, someone who enjoys being hands-on, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care. The caseload is nicely varied, with a mix of wellness, surgery, and urgent cases, so no two days will feel quite the same. If you enjoy using your full skillset, from anesthesia monitoring to client education, you’ll feel right at home here.
What really stands out is the team. You’ll be working alongside experienced veterinarians and a strong group of technicians and assistants who genuinely support one another. It’s a collaborative, down-to-earth environment where your voice is heard, your skills are trusted, and your development is very much encouraged.
The role also offers a schedule designed with real life in mind. A four-day workweek and light weekend rotation mean you can build a fulfilling career without burning out, something this team genuinely prioritizes.

- Confident in anesthesia monitoring and hands-on patient care
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative, supportive team
- Strong communicator who builds trust with clients and colleagues
- Motivated to keep learning and developing your clinical skills
- Competitive hourly rate of $22–$30+, depending on experience
- 401K with employer matching
- Medical insurances
- Generous CE allowance and professional fee support
- Uniform allowance
- Gym membership reimbursement
- Employee discounts on veterinary care
- Paid time off, holidays, and a paid volunteer day
