Job Description
We are working on behalf of a well-established, high-volume emergency and general practice hospital in Sacramento, CA, that is looking to welcome an Emergency and Primary Care Veterinarian to its team.
This is a 24-hour hospital operating out of a 25,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility with a dedicated ICU, two surgical suites, two ultrasound units, a spacious treatment area, and sixteen exam rooms. The team has access to radiologist support for daily ultrasounds and a regularly scheduled cardiologist, along with a wider network of specialists.
This role offers a hybrid schedule split between emergency and primary care shifts, typically three to four shifts per week, giving you variety while maintaining a manageable caseload. Sacramento is one of the most diverse cities in the country, sitting between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe, and offers easy access to weekend getaways along with a fast-growing local economy. The hospital is looking for a doctor who is passionate about high-quality medicine, enjoys collaborating with a supportive team, and wants to keep learning and growing throughout their career.

- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in California, or the ability to obtain it
