An established specialty and emergency hospital in Austin, TX is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their team to mentor the next generation of ER Doctors.
The hospital has recently moved into a brand-new, custom-built, 25,000 sq.ft facility designed to support high-quality patient care and an excellent work environment. As the only AAHA-accredited and Fear Free Certified ER/Specialty hospital in the area, this practice is committed to progressive medicine and fostering a culture of support.
This multi-specialty hospital offers 24/7 emergency services and specialty care in surgery, internal medicine, and oncology, working closely with an external cardiologist and sonographer-reviewed ultrasound services throughout the week. The hospital is fully equipped with modern diagnostic tools, including CT, endoscopy, cystoscopy, telemetry, and more, ensuring veterinarians have what they need to practice exceptional medicine.
The Emergency Mentor role is designed for someone who loves ER medicine and wants to share that passion by guiding newer veterinarians as they develop their skills in the field. This position blends primary case work with mentorship, working alongside the medical director to shape and strengthen the ER mentorship program. Responsibilities include clinical teaching, case reviews, mentorship of externs, and fostering a culture of learning and collaboration

- Base salary up to $220,000 + production + no negative accrual
