Emergency Veterinarian

I am currently working with a well-established 24/7 specialty and emergency hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia, seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join their dedicated ECC team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to practice advanced emergency medicine in a fully equipped, multi-specialty environment where collaboration and clinical excellence are at the forefront.

This hospital operates around the clock, 365 days a year, and is purpose-built to support high-acuity cases. The facility features a fully equipped surgical suite with electrocautery and ventilator support, digital radiography with rapid board-certified consult access, bedside ultrasound, glaucoma tonometry, comprehensive in-house laboratory diagnostics (including clotting times and electrolyte analysis), blood products for transfusion, oxygen supplementation, and electronically monitored fluid therapy. Emergency clinicians are empowered to thoroughly work up cases and practice at the top of their license.

You’ll be joining a collaborative team of emergency doctors alongside board-certified specialists in internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, oncology, and critical care, as well as a rehabilitation department. The workflow is streamlined, the support staff are highly experienced, and leadership prioritizes both patient outcomes and clinician sustainability. Flexible scheduling options are available, designed specifically to promote longevity in emergency medicine. Relocation support is also offered.
