Job Description
A dedicated emergency veterinary hospital in Memphis, TN is looking for an Emergency Veterinarian to join its team.
This hospital is exclusively focused on emergency medicine, providing after hours care for the Memphis community for more than 40 years. Operating in the evenings, nights, and 24/7 on weekends, the practice supports local primary care veterinarians by stepping in when patients need urgent attention outside of regular business hours.
You will be joining a large, experienced team of 16 emergency veterinarians, working alongside skilled technicians and support staff in a fast paced, fully equipped environment built for urgent and critical care.
The caseload is broad and varied, covering toxicities, trauma, fractures, foreign body ingestion, breathing difficulties, seizures, and unstable medical conditions such as pancreatitis and diabetes. You will work closely with the hospital manager on daily operations and case flow, with the autonomy to manage your own cases from intake through to discharge.
This is a great opportunity for a clinician who thrives under pressure, enjoys variety, and wants to make a meaningful impact for pets and their families during the moments that matter most.
