Job Description
We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected, long-established 24/7 ER clinic serving the Bay Area for over 50 years.
This hospital is renowned for its gold-standard emergency care for companion animals, including exotics, birds, and small mammals. Many of the team members have worked together for 15+ years, creating a culture of deep trust, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.
The facility has been recently renovated and features the latest technology in digital radiography, ultrasound, telemedicine, and an in-house laboratory. Emergency clinicians here are supported by experienced technicians and on-call access to board-certified specialists in surgery, neurology, and internal medicine.
Lifelong learning is actively encouraged; new graduates and experienced DVMs alike benefit from robust mentorship, a generous CE allowance, and the opportunity to pursue advanced certifications.
Collaboration with local GP practices means patients receive seamless continuity of care, while you get to focus on practicing the highest level of medicine alongside a passionate, close-knit team.
- $100,000 signing bonus for experienced ER veterinarians
- Base salary of $180K–$200K (DOE) + 23–24% production
- Flexible scheduling: 10–12 shifts/month with 7–10 consecutive days off

- DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
- You hold (or are eligible for) a licensure in California
- Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine

- $180-$230,000 per year base salary plus a $100,000 sign-on bonus!
