Job Description
Atlas is proud to be working on behalf of a well-established, predominantly equine veterinary hospital in Missouri seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian with a genuine passion for equine medicine.
This is a busy, progressive, six-doctor practice with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care across a wide spectrum of equine disciplines from backyard companions to high-level sport horses.
Although the role will be primarily ambulatory, you will be supported by an impressive 10,000 sq. ft. purpose-built hospital. Facilities include multiple equine stalls (with dedicated mare/foal and isolation stalls), indoor stocks, and excellent diagnostic and treatment capabilities.
You’ll be supported by experienced RVTs, including access to 24-hour nursing care when required, allowing you to focus on medicine rather than logistics. Collaboration is a core part of the culture here, with doctors working together in a supportive environment that values communication, case discussion, and professional growth.
This role would suit a veterinarian who enjoys variety and autonomy, with exposure to lameness, sports medicine, reproduction, and advanced diagnostics. A special interest in sports medicine is highly desirable, though not essential.
Flexible scheduling, a comprehensive benefits package, and strong investment in CE make this a well-rounded opportunity for a confident Equine Veterinarian.
