General Practice DVM

We are working on behalf of a well-established, dual-purpose small animal hospital in Doral, FL that combines general practice with 24/7 emergency care under one roof.

With more than two decades serving the local community, the hospital has built a reputation for compassionate, comprehensive care and continues to invest heavily in staff training, technology, and professional development.

The practice is now looking to welcome a General Practice DVM who is passionate about client education and eager to help shape the future of its wellness offerings. This is a genuinely unique opportunity to go beyond day-to-day appointments: you’ll help build out geriatric, puppy, and wellness packages, collaborate with the hospital’s in-house Physical Therapist to integrate rehab into GP care, and become the face of client education within the practice. As the team grows, there’s real scope to help hire and mentor future DVMs and help shape the culture of the department.

The role runs on traditional GP hours, is backed by a strong technician team (2 techs/assistants per doctor), and offers access to specialized training including yearly Global FAST courses and dental training with a board-certified dentist.
