Job Description
Are you an experienced veterinarian looking to step into a leadership role where you can directly influence patient care, mentor fellow clinicians, and help shape the future of a mission-driven organization?
We’re partnering with a well-established feline-focused veterinary practice in the Atlanta area that is seeking a Chief of Staff to join its leadership team. This is a rare opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys balancing clinical excellence with team leadership, operational oversight, and strategic growth.
This hospital has built an outstanding reputation for providing accessible, high-quality feline medicine while remaining deeply committed to its core values of servant leadership, collaboration, and community impact. The facility is exclusively dedicated to feline patients, creating a unique environment for veterinarians who are passionate about cat medicine and feline welfare. Supported by a dedicated team of veterinarians, credentialed technicians, and experienced support staff, you’ll have the opportunity to mentor clinicians, strengthen medical standards, and help maintain a positive, sustainable workplace culture.
As Chief of Staff, you’ll work closely with the Practice Manager and senior leadership team to oversee medical protocols, clinical quality, DEA compliance, scheduling, doctor development, and financial performance. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting associate veterinarians, improving patient outcomes, and ensuring the hospital continues to deliver exceptional care while maintaining a healthy, engaged team.
This position would particularly suit an experienced veterinarian with strong communication skills, leadership experience, and a passion for coaching others. Previous management experience is highly desirable, and experience in high-volume spay/neuter surgery would be beneficial.

- Minimum 3+ years of experience leading or managing veterinarians preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills
- DEA license (or ability to obtain) and commitment to maintaining high clinical standards
- Competitive salary package
- Continuing education support and professional development opportunities
- Leadership and career advancement potential
- Comprehensive healthcare benefits
