Job Description
A full-service, reputable small animal hospital in Grayson, KY is seeking a Medical Director to lead its clinical team.
This is a full-service veterinary practice offering a comprehensive range of services, including wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, internal medicine, geriatrics, soft tissue surgery, and emergency care. The hospital also sees exotic patients for those with an interest in expanding their caseload, and there is scope to build out additional services as the practice continues to grow.
The clinic is well-equipped to support high-quality medicine, with ultrasound, digital and dental radiography, in-house laboratory capabilities, and cold laser therapy, alongside a dedicated dental suite and an on-site pharmacy.
You’ll be leading a collaborative team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and support staff, working closely with senior leadership to maintain clinical standards and guide the practice forward through its next phase of growth.

Compensation includes a base salary of $140,000 to $160,000 plus a production bonus with no negative accrual, along with a signing, retention, and relocation package worth up to $125,000.

- DVM or VMD from an accredited college or university
- Current Kentucky veterinary license, or eligibility to obtain one
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain and maintain one)
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in veterinary practice
- Strong diagnostic, surgical, and dental skills
- Comfortable in a leadership capacity, with excellent communication skills
- Base salary between $140,000 and $160,000 plus production bonus with no negative accrual
- Signing, retention, and relocation package up to $125,000
