Job Description
Join a well-established, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in the Houston Heights area that is looking to welcome a Lead Associate Veterinarian to their collaborative three-doctor team!
This hospital has built an excellent reputation in the community for delivering personalized, high-quality care with a strong emphasis on communication and long-term client relationships.
The facility itself has been thoughtfully designed to support both exceptional medicine and a calm client experience. It features eight fully equipped exam rooms, a double surgical suite, and a dedicated dental suite, along with a peaceful end-of-life suite with its own entrance to ensure privacy and compassion during those difficult moments. The hospital is also Feline Friendly certified, with a separate entrance and exam areas designed specifically for cats.
Doctors are supported by modern diagnostic tools, including digital radiography, dental radiographs, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and a full in-house lab, enabling efficient and high-standard patient care.
You’ll be joining a supportive three-DVM team within a hospital that values collaboration, mentorship, and professional development. This opportunity would suit an experienced veterinarian looking to step into leadership or someone interested in gradually developing into a leadership position with structured support.
You’ll have the opportunity to influence clinical protocols, mentor colleagues, and play a meaningful role in shaping the hospital’s future.
