Job Description
This is a small, established practice that’s been serving the local community for 20 years, offering small-animal care with some exotics.
The focus is simple and consistent: individualized care, clear communication, and making sure clients understand what’s happening and why. Treatment plans aren’t cookie-cutter, and the team takes pride in seeing cases through instead of passing them along halfway.
They’re looking for a Medical Director, and it’s a role with real influence. You’ll have a say in how medicine is practiced day to day, from protocols and workflow to how cases are managed and what the clinic prioritizes. The caseload is primarily small-animal general practice, with enough exotic cases to keep things interesting without turning the schedule into a constant scramble.
Alongside practicing GP medicine and surgery, you’ll be leading the medical direction of the hospital. That includes setting and maintaining standards, improving the day-to-day, and supporting the team in a practical, hands-on way. In a 2-DVM clinic, your leadership won’t get lost in layers; you’ll be able to make decisions that actually stick.
