This opportunity offers genuine clinical autonomy, a dedicated and experienced team, and the chance to take over from a respected Medical Director who has been mentoring veterinarians for decades.
This independent, purpose-built facility has been serving pets in the area for over 20 years. The hospital features five exam rooms, a surgical suite with two tables, a treatment area, and a dental suite, as well as X-ray and dental radiography on-site. There’s even a basement gym and break room for team wellness. With a team that truly cares, including skilled support staff, you’ll find collaboration, mentorship, and flexibility.
As Medical Director, you’ll lead clinical standards, oversee day-to-day operations, and guide a talented team. The current Medical Director, a highly experienced surgeon, is planning to retire and will be available to mentor and support you during the handover. - Competitive base salary of $125,000–$145,000 + sign-on and relocation bonuses
- DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
- You hold (or are eligible for) a licensure in New Jersey
- Confident in small animal medicine and general surgery
- Passionate about team leadership, mentorship, and collaboration
- Dedicated to high clinical standards and positive client communication
