Job Description
We’re excited to support a well-established small-animal hospital in Port St. Lucie as they welcome a Medical Director to lead their progressive, community-trusted team.
This long-standing clinic has built its reputation on client education, continuity of care, and a culture rooted in compassion. With a modern facility continually investing in upgraded diagnostics and tools, you’ll have everything you need to elevate medical standards and shape the hospital’s clinical direction.
The hospital features a bright, thoughtfully designed space equipped with digital radiography, advanced surgical capability, comprehensive in-house labs, dentistry suites, and technology that supports efficient same-day diagnostics. You’ll be joining a cohesive group of experienced DVMs, supported by a knowledgeable technical and administrative staff who ensure the hospital operates smoothly and at the highest standard of care. The team is warm, collaborative, and genuinely committed to delivering the level of care they would expect for their own pets.
As Medical Director, you’ll lead both clinically and strategically—guiding medical excellence, mentoring doctors, partnering closely with hospital leadership on operations and financial performance, and fostering an environment where learning and fun coexist. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys shaping hospital culture, championing quality medicine, and ensuring both patients and people have a positive experience every day.
