Job Description
This is a brilliant opportunity for a confident clinician who enjoys mentoring others, shaping medical standards, and still remaining hands-on with patient care.
The hospital has deep community roots, having served local pet owners for decades, and has built its reputation around compassionate, bond-focused care. The team places a strong emphasis on client education, clear communication, and creating a warm experience for every pet owner who walks through the door. The practice offers a wide range of services, including urgent care, wellness, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, sick visits, puppy and kitten care, and end-of-life support, with access to modern diagnostic and surgical capabilities.
You’ll be joining a collaborative hospital team with an experienced Hospital Manager already in place, plus support from wider regional leadership. As Medical Director, you’ll guide medical protocols, mentor veterinarians and support staff, oversee clinical quality, and partner with leadership to drive the hospital forward. The current leadership team includes a Medical Director with over a decade of emergency and GP experience, creating an environment that values strong clinical standards, teamwork, and continued development.
The package is highly competitive, with a salary range of $175,000–$250,000, production opportunities, potential performance bonuses, relocation assistance, and a $25,000 sign-on bonus.
