Job Description
Join a progressive, privately owned veterinary hospital in Central Florida that has successfully combined long-term stability with ambitious growth. Established over 25 years ago, this expansive 30,000 sq.ft.
The campus is home to both a high-performing general practice and a cutting-edge referral and emergency facility, offering a truly integrated approach to patient care. With over 20 doctors and 130+ support staff, the hospital delivers a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment where specialists and GPs work seamlessly together.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to step into a Medical Director position, blending clinical excellence with meaningful leadership. You’ll be supported by a highly engaged ownership team that is present, approachable, and genuinely invested in the well-being and success of their staff. The hospital operates under a strong “One Tribe” philosophy, reflected in its exceptionally low staff turnover and positive, team-first culture.
The facilities are second to none, featuring a 1.5T MRI, 64-slice CT, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, minimally invasive surgical suites, and dedicated oncology and ultrasound rooms. Each doctor is supported by dedicated technicians and assistants, ensuring you can focus on delivering high-quality care while effectively leading and mentoring your team. With flexibility in how you structure your time between clinical and leadership responsibilities, this role offers both autonomy and impact.

- Opportunity to shape clinical standards and influence hospital growth
- DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
- You hold (or are eligible for) a licensure in Florida
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, ideally with leadership exposure
- Passionate about mentorship, team development, and clinical excellence
- Collaborative communicator who thrives in a team-driven environment
- Competitive Pro/Sal compensation package
- Base salary from $180K–$220K with performance-based bonuses
- Negotiable sign-on bonus and relocation assistance
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
- CE allowance, license coverage, and flexible PTO
