We are proud to be working with a well-established 5-doctor small animal hospital in Asheville, NC, seeking a Lead Veterinarian (Medical Director) to join their team.

This modern facility provides comprehensive care for cats and dogs, equipped with advanced technology including AVImark electronic medical records, Idexx in-house and reference laboratory services (including Sedivue), digital radiography, and digital dental x-ray. The hospital is committed to providing high-quality medicine while fostering a compassionate, team-oriented culture.

The incoming Lead DVM will play a pivotal role in patient care, while also guiding and mentoring the associate doctors. DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
You hold (or are eligible for) a licensure in North Carolina
At least 3 years’ experience as a practicing veterinarian
Strong leadership qualities with prior management experience preferred
Committed to client education and high-quality medicine
