Job Description
A rare ownership opportunity has come available for an ambitious Veterinarian for a thriving, purpose-built small animal hospital in McKinney, TX.
A modern, privately owned general practice established in 2022 and growing at 40% year on year is looking for the right veterinarian to step in as a partner or outright owner. The current owner is open to partial or full acquisition with a partnership model available. What matters most is finding someone who carries a genuine passion for veterinary education, high-quality medicine, and building a culture where the team and the patients both thrive.
The 2,300 sq ft facility was purpose-built for an efficient, low-stress workflow, with four exam rooms, separate dog and cat wards, a dedicated dental suite, and private staff entry via keycard. The equipment list is exceptional for a GP setting, covering advanced radiology with AI interpretation, Nomad Pro 2 dental radiography, mobile abdominal and cardiac ultrasound, modern anesthesia monitoring, Doppler, Voyant vessel sealing technology, monopolar electrocautery, and acupuncture and electroacupuncture capability.
The team is small, tight-knit, and drama-free, with a 2:1 tech-to-doctor ratio and each doctor receiving their own dedicated technician for the day. A mobile boarded surgeon visits four times a month for TPLOs, MPLs, laryngeal tiebacks, and other specialty procedures.
Appointments run a minimum of 30 minutes, the day ends by 4pm, and there are no weekends and no after-hours requirements. The hospital serves the communities of McKinney, Prosper, and Frisco, with a loyal and growing client base already in place.
