Job Description
Atlas Consultancy Group is partnering with a wide range of veterinary hospitals across the Greater Philadelphia area that are actively seeking reliable, high-quality relief veterinarians to provide short-term cover.
Rather than representing a single hospital, this is an open invitation to relief vets seeking consistent work, flexibility, and support — without the stress of chasing clinics, negotiating rates, or managing endless paperwork. We work with an extensive network of hospitals across the Philadelphia metro area and surrounding Pennsylvania — from small, community-focused GP practices and busy multi-doctor clinics, to large ER, urgent care, and specialty hospitals with advanced diagnostics and on-site specialist support.
Whether you prefer predictable GP shifts, fast-paced emergency work, or a mix of both, we can tailor opportunities to suit your preferences, availability, and clinical strengths. As a relief veterinarian working with Atlas, you’re never on your own. We take a concierge-style approach, acting as your dedicated point of contact and advocate. We’ll match you with hospitals that align with how you like to work, help negotiate competitive rates, coordinate bookings, and handle the admin — so you can focus on what matters most: practicing great medicine, on your terms.
- Access to a large, established network of veterinary hospitals across Greater Philadelphia and surrounding Pennsylvania
- Opportunities across GP, Urgent Care, ER, and Specialty settings — from community clinics to advanced referral centers
- Flexible relief assignments — short-term blocks, ongoing cover, or one-off ad hoc shifts
- Concierge-style support: we manage all bookings, logistics, and administrative coordination on your behalf
- Assistance with rate negotiation to ensure you’re fairly and competitively compensated for every shift
- Hospitals ranging from small independent practices to large multi-doctor and specialty hospitals
- A single, trusted recruiter who understands your clinical preferences, availability, and priorities
- DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
- You hold (or are eligible for) licensure in Pennsylvania
- Comfortable stepping into new hospital environments with professionalism and confidence
- Reliable, high-quality clinician committed to excellent standards of patient care
- Interested in flexible work without sacrificing support, consistency, or earning potential
- Access to far more relief opportunities than you’d find sourcing shifts independently
- Personalized matching with hospitals that align with your clinical style and preferences
- Rate negotiation support to help you maximize your earning potential on every booking
- Admin handled for you — no back-and-forth with clinics, no chasing paperwork
- Sustainable long-term partnership, or one-off shifts — the choice is entirely yours
